About The Position

We are seeking an experienced finance executive to join our leadership team as either Chief Financial Officer (CFO) or Vice President Finance, depending on experience and qualifications. Reporting directly to the CEO, this executive role will provide strategic financial leadership across a multi-entity manufacturing organization with operations in Canada, the United States, and Europe. This position offers the opportunity to influence corporate strategy, drive profitable growth, support acquisitions and capital investments, and partner closely with the executive team and Board of Directors.

Requirements

  • CPA designation
  • 15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience
  • Experience as a CFO, VP Finance, Divisional CFO, or equivalent executive role
  • Strong expertise in financial planning, treasury, corporate finance, and governance
  • Experience working with executive leadership teams and Boards of Directors
  • Bilingual French and English. (The successful candidate will regularly communicate and collaborate with employees, customers, financial institutions, external advisors, and business partners located outside Quebec, including teams in the United States and France)

Nice To Haves

  • Manufacturing, industrial, packaging, distribution, logistics, or supply chain experience
  • Experience with acquisitions, business integrations, and corporate development
  • MBA or other advanced business education
  • Experience leading multi-site and multi-country operations

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the CEO, President, CAO, and Board of Directors on strategic planning and business decisions
  • Provide financial leadership to support growth, profitability, and long-term value creation
  • Evaluate strategic investments, acquisitions, and expansion opportunities
  • Lead financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and performance management processes
  • Oversee treasury, cash flow, financing, banking relationships, and capital allocation
  • Direct consolidated financial reporting and financial controls across multiple entities
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, tax, audit, and governance requirements
  • Support M&A activities including due diligence, transaction execution, and integration
  • Drive continuous improvement and finance transformation initiatives
  • Enhance financial systems, reporting capabilities, and decision-support tools
  • Lead and develop a high-performing finance team
  • Build strong partnerships with operational leaders across the organization
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
