The CFO will lead a dedicated accounting team, serve on the senior leadership team, and be the financial steward of the organization.

  • Proven track record managing organizational budgets in the $20M–$40M range.
  • Experience with nonprofit audit processes and working directly with external auditors.
  • 8-10+ supervisory experience leading an accounting or finance team.
  • Deep working knowledge of GAAP, FASB nonprofit standards, and fund accounting.
  • Expertise with nonprofit accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Blackbaud Financial Edge).

  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement across the policies, systems, and internal controls that keep a complex, multi-grant organization always running smoothly and audit ready.
  • Document, safeguard, and succession-plan every critical function on your team, ensuring every role, system, and process outlasts any one person.
  • Identify and lead your team and organization in continuous cost savings to invest back into our mission and people.
  • Oversee IT infrastructure and lead technology initiatives that keep TEAM's systems modern, secure, and scaling alongside the organization – including integrating AI financial systems into your team’s workflow.
