Certified Weld Inspector (CWI)
About The Position
IntegriTesting is seeking qualified Certified Weld Inspector (CWI)/Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) Technicians to oversee in-shop bridge and structural inspections related to quality assurance and NDE testing. The company specializes in non-destructive testing within the Department of Transportation and is looking for individuals who can contribute to a culture of integrity and teamwork, helping to develop business partnerships that drive improved outcomes. This role is for professionals who are serious, diligent, conscientious, disciplined, and able to deliver detailed high-quality reports and services, with natural tendencies to be precise, concerned with rules, and to produce accurate results.
Requirements
- Current AWS CWI certification is required.
- Must have been certified in and currently able to certify to: ASNT Level II in Liquid Penetrant, Magnetic Particle, Ultrasonic Testing, and/or Visual Testing (PT, MT, UT and/or VT).
- Must be currently certified as an AWS CWI.
- Are detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining high levels of concentration.
- Possess strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a structured organization.
- Have a proactive approach to identifying and solving problems.
- Can adapt to changing customer needs and think strategically about opportunities beyond the immediate job.
- Must be willing to travel.
- Drug testing and criminal background check will be conducted.

Responsibilities
- Perform Level II NDT in Liquid Penetrant, Magnetic Particle, Ultrasonic Testing, and Visual Testing. (PT, MT, UT, VT)
- Oversight of inspections and generation of accurate, professional reports following standardized formats.
- Ensure a safe working environment by selecting and correctly using safety equipment, identifying safety issues, and taking appropriate action.
- Collaborate with a team of highly trained, certified professionals to ensure effective knowledge transfer.
- Maintain and acquire necessary qualifications and certifications, staying up to date with applicable codes, standards, and technologies.
- Take responsibility for the care and maintenance of all equipment.
- Engage with customers to ensure their needs are met and identify potential opportunities for additional services.
