About The Position

Trinity Oaks Pet Wellness Center is seeking a Certified Veterinary Technician to join their progressive, multi-doctor veterinary practice. The practice emphasizes knowledgeable care, strong client relationships, and a supportive culture with opportunities for mentorship, efficiency, and career growth. They offer hands-on learning, virtual training, and continuing development to enhance technician skills. The role is described as being more than just 'extra hands,' but an integral part of the team providing calm, capable care to pets and their families. Services include preventative care, urgent care, surgery, dentistry, cold laser therapy, diagnostics, radiology, ultrasonography, acupuncture, boarding, and wellness care.

Requirements

  • A Certified Vet Tech or experienced Veterinary Technician that is license eligible.
  • At least one year of professional experience is helpful, but not required for newly licensed individuals.
  • A positive teammate with a strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
  • Someone who communicates clearly with clients, doctors, and support staff.
  • Comfort with preventative care, surgical flow, diagnostics, and hospital teamwork.
  • Ability to arrive ready for a fast-paced day and bring kindness into each interaction.
  • Some Saturday morning availability.

Responsibilities

  • Provide skilled nursing care for medical, hospitalized, surgical, and wellness patients.
  • Assist veterinarians with exams, diagnostics, treatment plans, and client communication.
  • Perform safe, low-stress restraint and triage incoming patients.
  • Collect and process blood, urine, fecal, skin, and other laboratory samples.
  • Capture digital radiographs and support dental radiology when needed.
  • Prepare patients for surgery and monitor anesthesia with accuracy and care.
  • Administer medications and treatments while maintaining clear medical records.
  • Educate clients so they feel confident caring for their pets at home.
