Requirements

  • An active Certified Veterinary Technician license; CVT, certified vet tech, or experienced license-eligible veterinary technician applicants are encouraged to apply.
  • At least 1 year of veterinary technician experience preferred for experienced roles.
  • Confidence with anesthesia monitoring, lab diagnostics, radiology, and patient care.
  • A calm, compassionate, team-first communication style.
  • Interest in mentorship, continuous learning, and growing clinical skills.
  • Availability for some Saturday shifts and reliability in scheduled shifts.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
  • The ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical expertise and unwavering commitment to animal welfare in a dynamic veterinary setting.

Responsibilities

  • Triage incoming patients and support calm, confident appointments and urgent care visits.
  • Collect and analyze lab samples, including blood, urine, fecal, and skin specimens.
  • Capture diagnostic images, including digital radiographs and dental radiographs.
  • Provide nursing care for medical, surgical, and hospitalized veterinary patients.
  • Assist with surgery, orthopedic procedures, anesthetic induction, and monitoring.
  • Administer medications and communicate clearly with doctors and clients about care plans.
  • Use safe, low-stress restraint techniques for dogs, cats, birds, and exotic pets.
  • Help maintain smooth hospital flow while supporting fellow Veterinary Technician team members.
