About The Position

Londonderry Animal Hospital is hiring a full-time Certified Veterinary Technician to provide skilled patient care and exceptional client service. The role supports veterinarians with veterinary procedures and helps improve the lives of pets and their owners. The hospital is located in Middletown, Pennsylvania, and provides comprehensive care in a welcoming environment focused on pet well-being and strong client relationships. This position is 30–40 hours per week. The hospital is open Monday through Thursday, 7:30 AM–7:30 PM, and Friday, 7:30 AM–5:30 PM. The schedule includes one weekday off each week and one required closing shift until 7:30 PM each week. Saturday morning shifts may be added in the future as the hospital expands. Compensation is $22–$26 per hour, determined by the candidate’s skills, experience, and qualifications. Requirements

Must be a Certified Veterinary Technician in Pennsylvania.
Ability to handle animals safely and compassionately.
Knowledge of common disease states and ability to alert veterinarians to changes in patient conditions.
Familiarity with DEA, OSHA, and hospital safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

Support veterinarians with patient care, examinations, surgery, anesthesia, and recovery.
Safely handle and restrain animals with compassion.
Communicate clearly with clients, including providing care instructions and status updates.
Perform technical duties such as laboratory work, radiographs, injections, and IV catheter placement.
Maintain accurate medical records and assist with medication dispensing.
Keep examination rooms, treatment areas, and equipment clean, stocked, and ready.
Follow hospital, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
