About The Position

VCA Pleasant Bay Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Certified Veterinary Technician for a full-time position. The hospital has been serving the lower cape area since 1975 and offers a full range of veterinary services including medical, surgical, diagnostic, and dental care. They emphasize a culture of kindness, integrity, quality patient care, and loyal client relationships. The position offers a potential schedule of Tuesday through Saturday.

Requirements

• Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT, RVT, LVT) or technician in training.
• Positive and motivated attitude.
• Determination to rise above obstacles, wear multiple hats, and work as a team.
• Adaptable, goal-driven, and engaged.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical examinations, patient assessment, and recovery.
• Manage procedural anesthesia and monitoring.
• Administer IV fluids and calculate CRI.
• Perform Hands-Free Radiology and diagnostic imaging.
• Engage in client communications and discharge instructions.
