Requirements

Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT/RVT/LVT) required
Emergency, Critical Care, or high-acuity veterinary experience preferred
Strong technical skills and commitment to advancing veterinary nursing care
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced emergency animal hospital environment
Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented approach
Strong communication skills with clients and hospital team members
Desire to continue learning, growing, and expanding your Veterinary Technician skills
Interest in advanced training, specialty certification, or leadership growth encouraged
Fluent English speaking and reading skills required

Nice To Haves

Prior experience as an ER or Urgent Care veterinary technician

Responsibilities

Triage incoming emergency patients and support clients through stressful situations with compassion and professionalism
Partner with veterinarians on diagnostics, treatments, and case management
Provide advanced nursing care for emergency and critical care patients
Collect and process laboratory samples including blood, urine, cytology, and additional diagnostics
Utilize advanced imaging to support patient assessment and treatment planning
Execute, monitor, and recover anesthesia and sedation events
Advocate for hospitalized patients throughout every stage of care
Use critical thinking skills to support high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced ER/CC environment
Collaborate with doctors and Veterinary Technicians as a trusted partner in patient care

$27–$34/hour (based on skills assessment)
$4.50/hour overnight differential (7p–7a)
$4/hour weekend differential (Saturday 12a – Sunday 11:59p)
$5,000 sign-on bonus
