About The Position
The Internal Medicine team at Animal Emergency & Referral Center of Minnesota (AERC) is looking for a Veterinary Technician who enjoys diagnostic challenges and complex cases. This role involves working collaboratively with board-certified internists and experienced technicians to manage chronic and complicated medical cases. The team values strong medicine, thoughtful patient care, and mutual support.
Requirements
- CVT/LVT/RVT preferred (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical setting.
- Strong technical skills and attention to detail.
- Interest in Internal Medicine.
- Ability to ask questions, share ideas, and support the team.
- A steady presence, especially during complicated cases.

Responsibilities
- Assist with advanced diagnostics such as ultrasound, endoscopy, aspirates, and biopsies.
- Support the management of chronic and complex medical cases.
- Provide detailed patient monitoring and high-quality nursing care.
- Partner closely with board-certified internists and experienced technicians.
- Communicate with clients, providing guidance, clarity, and compassion.
- Participate in a team environment that encourages teaching and learning.
