About The Position
HireQuest Direct Staffing Agency is hiring part-time Certified Traffic Control Flaggers for ongoing and upcoming projects. Work is temporary and project-based, with opportunities for recurring assignments at various job sites throughout Vancouver, Washington, and Oregon. Shifts are primarily days, and hours vary based on project needs. Pay is $22.50 per hour, with daily pay available.
Requirements
- Current Washington or Oregon flagger certification.
- Valid driver's license.
- Reliable personal vehicle and ability to travel to various job sites.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Strong attention to safety and situational awareness.
- Dependability, excellent attendance, and punctuality.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities
- Safely direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic through construction and work zones.
- Protect workers, motorists, and the public by following established traffic control procedures.
- Set up, maintain, and remove traffic control devices as directed.
- Communicate effectively with Traffic Control Supervisors (TCS), crews, and the public.
- Follow company, customer, and Oregon safety regulations.
- Report hazards, incidents, or unsafe conditions immediately.
