About The Position

Toyota of Cedar Park is looking for a Certified Toyota Service Technician. The Technician performs anything from basic maintenance, light or heavy repairs, diagnosis to warranty repairs on customer vehicles with emphasis on Toyota brand knowledge. Primary goals are safe, efficient performance of all maintenance and repair tasks as defined in the dealership processes and policies. Flag rate pay is based off experience and certification.

Requirements

• Must have prior Toyota brand Technician experience.
• Competent knowledge of automotive technology and related tools and equipment
• ASE Certifications
• Certified to perform state inspections
• 4 years clear driving record- No previous DUI history or moving violations
• Valid driver’s license
• No criminal background history
• High school diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Conducts multipoint inspections and video inspections of customer vehicles to identify needed maintenance services and repairs.
• Follows all required safety and hazardous materials procedures as required by the dealership policies and applicable laws and regulations.
• Uses and maintains dealership-provided equipment in proper operating conditions.
• Documents inspection findings and maintenance requirements clearly and accurately and communicates them to the service advisor/ASM or Shop Foreman.
• Communicates proactively with other associates to ensure a smooth, safe flow of work throughout the shop.
• Quality checks own work and the work of other Technicians as requested.
• Stays up to date with all manufacturer and dealership required training.
