Requirements
- Comprehensive understanding of pharmacy laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Proficiency in prescription processing systems and pharmacy software.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, drug classifications, and common medications.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with pharmacy staff and patients.
- Strong attention to detail for accurately preparing and labeling medications.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Ability to identify and resolve issues related to prescription processing and customer inquiries.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification.
- Previous experience working as a retail pharmacy technician.
- Knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Process prescription orders accurately and efficiently, including data entry.
- Prepare and label prescription medications according to established procedures and guidelines.
- Assist pharmacists with inventory management tasks, such as receiving, stocking, and ordering medications.
- Provide friendly and knowledgeable customer service to patients, answering questions and addressing concerns.
- Handle incoming phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate pharmacy staff member.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pharmacy area, including cleaning and sanitizing workspaces and equipment.
- Adhere to all pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety standards to ensure compliance.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as filing paperwork and maintaining patient records.
