About The Position
The Certified Surgical Technologist will perform scrub person duties during the intraoperative phase of surgical procedures. This role involves assisting in the preparation and dispensing of instruments, equipment, and supplies, conducting counts of instruments, needles, sharps, and sponges, handling specimens, and assisting with dressings or casts and patient movement. The technologist will also assist in the decontamination/reprocessing area when assigned and maintain inventory in the Operating Room and on carts.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Graduate of an approved Surgical Technologist school or minimum 3 years’ experience as a Surgical Technologist
- Current CPR certification required
Nice To Haves
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) highly preferred
Responsibilities

- Assist in the application of dressings or casts and moving patients
- Assist in decontamination/reprocessing area when assigned
- Maintain inventory in Operating Room and on carts
