About The Position
This is a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) position in a busy Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) with 3 Operating Rooms and 1 Procedure Room. The ASC specializes in ophthalmology, retina, ENT, ortho, pain management, and podiatry for both pediatric and adult patients. The role offers no weekends, overnights, holidays, or on-call duties. Employees receive every first, third, and fifth Friday off, unless there is scheduled education or inventory.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program.
- Certification (CST) required.
- BLS required.
Nice To Haves
- One year of surgical experience in the Operating Room (willing to train).
Responsibilities
- Assist in surgical operations under the supervision of surgeons, registered nurses, or other surgical personnel.
- Function as a member of the operating room team, which typically includes surgeons, anesthesiologists, and circulating nurses.
