About The Position

The Surgical Technologist assists providers during operative and invasive procedures in the ambulatory surgery center (ASC), while maintaining a sterile surgical environment throughout each procedure.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ year of experience in surgical setting
• Current BLS Certification

Nice To Haves

• Current Surgical Technician Certification
• 1+ years of experience in surgical setting
• 1 year of experience with Robotic procedures (Alpharetta Location Only)
• 1 year of experience in urogynecology (Alpharetta Location Only)

Responsibilities

• Able to prepare the operating room and manage necessary instruments and supplies during procedures in a timely manner in a high-volume environment.
• Willing to learn and adopt new responsibilities based on shifting demands of providers and the medical team, including basics of sterile processing.
• Able to identify physical symptoms and take appropriate action when needed with a sense of urgency.
• Understand the flow of the operating room and be able to provide efficient support to providers with instruments and medications during the surgical procedure.
