About The Position

In this highly technical, fast-paced, and rewarding position, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for patients. The Surgical Technician I understands the procedure being performed and assures that all equipment, instrumentation, and supplies are available for the case. You will articulate the needs of the surgeon, handle the instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure, and participate in setting up and turning over the operating room for cases.

Requirements

• High School Diploma and/or GED equivalent
• Graduate of Surgical Technologist program, military trained, or AD in Surgical Technology preferred
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required
• 1 year or more prior experience and must have worked as a Surgical Technologist prior to 09/01/2009 (if not a graduate of a Surgical Technology Program)
• Basic Life Support required
