About The Position
At St. Luke’s, our dedicated team of Certified Surgical Techs are critical in providing exceptional, patient-centered care. The Certified Surgical Technologist is responsible for identifying and securing instrumentation and equipment needed for invasive procedures and demonstrating proficient use and implementation of the same.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certified as a Surgical Technologist (CST) by National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) OR Tech in Surgery Certified (CST-NCCT) by National Center Competency Testing (NCCT)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Responsibilities
- Identifying and securing instrumentation and equipment needed for invasive procedures
- Demonstrating proficient use and implementation of instrumentation and equipment
