About The Position

The Ontario OB Department is hiring a part-time Certified Surgical Technologist to join their team! This position is responsible for supporting surgical procedures as a CST, caring for patients within the unit, and completing administrative duties. The role involves assisting with overnight c-sections, providing setup and preparation of surgical procedures, and supporting surgical teams. Additionally, the CST/Obstetrics Technician will room patients, set up charts, take vitals, give baby baths, assist with stocking, and function as a Unit Clerk and Certified Nursing Assistant.

Requirements

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) by the NBSTSA or as a Tech in Surgery-Certified (TS-C) by the NCCT required
Basic Life Support for healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire

Responsibilities
