About The Position

This position assists in the organization and daily function of the operating room in accordance with established Federal, State, and accreditation standards and center policies and procedures. The role involves assisting nurses and physicians in delivering the highest standard of patient care. Essential competencies include demonstrating core values, practicing health & safety, human resource responsibility, and performing duties related to tasks, skills, and procedures rendered to clients.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED.
Operating room experience required.
Current BLS required.
Eligibility to provide proof of identity and right to work in the United States.
Effective communication skills; oral and written.
Ability to work well with other employees.
Ability to organize equipment, instruments, and supplies for cases according to patient needs and physician preference cards.
Ability to adhere to the work schedule and manage time appropriately.
Above average organization skills.
Working knowledge and experience in a hospital, operating room, or ambulatory surgery center.
English language proficiency.

Nice To Haves

One year of hospital main operating room experience.
Ability to scrub all types of cases.
