About The Position

Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together. This position is located in the Surgery Department at Texas Health Cleburne. The role is Full-Time, 40 hours weekly, Day shift, Monday – Friday 6:30a - 3p. Call is required 4-5 weekdays per month and 1 weekend Saturday and Sunday for our 5 member CST team taking equal call. PTO is covered within the team so some months may require more call than others. Response time is 45 minutes. Our service lines are Robotic, Orthopedic, General, podiatry, GYN, GI. Requirements

  • H.S. Diploma or Equivalent and was employed to practice surgical technology in a health care facility before September 1, 2009
  • Graduate of an accredited surgery technology program, Vocational Nurse Program or graduate/completion of a military training program in surgical technology Upon hire
  • CST - Certified Surgical Technologist CST (NBSTSA) or TS-C (NCCT) and graduate of an accredited surgical tech program Upon Hire
  • CST - Certified Surgical Technologist CST (NBSTSA) or TS-C (NCCT) and was employed to practice surgical technology in a health care facility before September 1, 2009 Upon Hire
  • CST - Certified Surgical Technologist CST (NBSTSA) or TS-C (NCCT) and graduate/completion of a military training program in surgical technology 2 Years
  • LVN - Licensed Vocational Nurse Upon Hire
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly
  • A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, acceptable grooming practices

Nice To Haves

  • Other Graduate of an accredited surgery technology program, Vocational Nurse Program or graduate/completion of a military training program in surgical technology Upon hire
  • 1 Year current operating room experience
