About The Position

Colorado Urologic Surgery Center is hiring a Certified Surgical Technician/Scrub Tech to support advanced outpatient urologic procedures. The Surgical Technologist scrubs for surgical procedures and functions as a competent member of the surgical team. The role maintains a sterile field and prepares supplies, instruments, and equipment for procedures. The technician supports the Surgery Center’s philosophy, objectives, and goals and participates in quality improvement activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; completion of a Surgical Technician Program and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certification as required by the state and/or center.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient.
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing patient conditions when needed.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with staff, engage with patients, and coordinate with physicians.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center is strongly preferred.
