About The Position

As a Surgical Tech in Georgia Surgery, you will prepare the operating room and surgical team to perform a variety of procedures. You will set up surgical equipment and instruments, assist the surgical team, and maintain a sterile environment. The role requires adapting quickly, collaborating effectively with the OR team, and supporting the patient's healing process. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Requirements

• Graduation from a surgical technologist program through an approved school or the military, upon hire.
• Certified Surgical Technologist certification within 6 months.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) within 14 days.
• Good telephone and communication skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to changes in healthcare technology.
• Adaptability, a strong team-player mindset, and enthusiasm for supporting complex surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room and surgical team for a variety of surgical procedures.
• Set up surgical equipment and instruments.

• Ensure a sterile environment.
