The work hours are Fulltime Days, 40 hours per week. Texas Health Clearfork is a 54-bed Orthopedic Center of Excellence facility that includes surgical and imaging services, orthopedics and sports therapy, adult care, & beautiful views of the Trinity River. Texas Health Clearfork is considered a Tower of Texas Health Southwest, which has been serving Tarrant County residents since 1987, has 1,100 employees, 120 volunteers, and more than 600 physicians on its medical staff. Requirements

• H.S. Diploma or Equivalent and was employed to practice surgical technology in a health care facility before September 1, 2009.
• Graduate of an accredited surgery technology program, vocational nurse program or graduate/completion of a military training program in surgical technology.
• 2 Years Recent experience in a surgical service specialty (robotics, cardiovascular/hearts, orthopedics, neurology) with a minimum of 150 cases performed in that specialty.
• CST - Certified Surgical Technologist CST (NBSTSA) or TS-C (NCCT) and graduate of an accredited surgical tech program Upon Hire.
• CST - Certified Surgical Technologist CST (NBSTSA) or TS-C (NCCT) and was employed to practice surgical technology in a healthcare facility before September 1, 2009 Upon Hire.
• CST - Certified Surgical Technologist CST (NBSTSA) or TS-C (NCCT) and graduate/completion of a military training program in surgical technology Upon Hire.
• LVN - Licensed Vocational Nurse Upon Hire.
• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Upon Hire.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively and professionally across disciplines.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
• A high degree of confidentiality with the ability to function in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple demands as well as respond to rapidly changing priorities.
• Service orientation and demonstrated ability to respond to the needs and emotions of people under stress.
