The work hours are Fulltime Days, 40 hours per week. Texas Health Clearfork is a 54-bed Orthopedic Center of Excellence facility that includes surgical and imaging services, orthopedics and sports therapy, adult care, & beautiful views of the Trinity River. Texas Health Clearfork is considered a Tower of Texas Health Southwest, which has been serving Tarrant County residents since 1987, has 1,100 employees, 120 volunteers, and more than 600 physicians on its medical staff. The hospital is Magnet facility designated hospital by American Nurses Credentialing Center, a designated UnitedHealth Premium Surgical Spine specialty center and has earned Quality Respiratory Care Recognition from the AARC. Requirements

  • H.S. Diploma or Equivalent and was employed to practice surgical technology in a health care facility before September 1, 2009.
  • Graduate of an accredited surgery technology program, vocational nurse program or graduate/completion of a military training program in surgical technology.
  • 2 Years Recent experience in a surgical service specialty (robotics, cardiovascular/hearts, orthopedics, neurology) with a minimum of 150 cases performed in that specialty.
  • CST - Certified Surgical Technologist CST (NBSTSA) or TS-C (NCCT) and graduate of an accredited surgical tech program Upon Hire.
  • CST - Certified Surgical Technologist CST (NBSTSA) or TS-C (NCCT) and was employed to practice surgical technology in a healthcare facility before September 1, 2009 Upon Hire.
  • CST - Certified Surgical Technologist CST (NBSTSA) or TS-C (NCCT) and graduate/completion of a military training program in surgical technology Upon Hire.
  • LVN - Licensed Vocational Nurse Upon Hire.
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Upon Hire.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively and professionally across disciplines.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • A high degree of confidentiality with the ability to function in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple demands as well as respond to rapidly changing priorities.
  • Service orientation and demonstrated ability to respond to the needs and emotions of people under stress.
