About The Position

Certified Surgical Technician Neuro CST Fulltime Day Shift Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together Position Highlights Work location: 6100 Harris Pkwy, Fort Worth, TX 76132 Work environment: Surgery Department Work hours: Full-Time 40 hours per week Day Shift: Mon- Fri 6:30am-3pm. Call, alternating weekends, and some holidays required. Position Responsibilities THSW Certified Surgical Tech’s will assist in some incredible Robotic procedures to include Urologic, Gynecologic, and General Surgery. They also will assist in 10 OR suites providing services in Orthopedic, Ortho/Spine, Podiatry, Plastics, Vascular, Gynecology, Urology and General Surgery.

Requirements

H.S. Diploma or Equivalent and was employed to practice surgical technology in a health care facility before September 1, 2009
CST - Certified Surgical Technologist CST (NBSTSA) or TS-C (NCCT) and graduate of an accredited surgical tech program
CST - Certified Surgical Technologist CST (NBSTSA) or TS-C (NCCT) and was employed to practice surgical technology in a health care facility before September 1, 2009
CST - Certified Surgical Technologist CST (NBSTSA) or TS-C (NCCT) and graduate/completion of a military training program in surgical technology
LVN - Licensed Vocational Nurse
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly
A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, acceptable grooming practices and ability to function in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Nice To Haves

Other Graduate of an accredited surgery technology program, Vocational Nurse Program or graduate/completion of a military training program in surgical technology Upon hire
2 Years OR Neuro/Spine experience required.
1 Year current operating room experience

Responsibilities
