Requirements
- CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification
- Completion of a surgical scrub technician program
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Excellent communication skills
Responsibilities
- Assembling supplies and equipment based on surgeon preferences.
- Inspecting equipment to ensure proper working condition.
- Upholding strict safety and aseptic techniques in the operating room and when opening packages.
- Anticipating the needs of the surgeon.
