About The Position
Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital Fort Worth is hiring a Full Time Certified Surgical Tech. This role is responsible for providing surgical scrub on all types of minor and major surgical procedures, dependent on individual competence, for Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital at Fort Worth and Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital at Fort Worth Outpatient Center. The position operates under the general supervision of the Director of Surgical Services and the charge nurse, and the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, or equivalent
- Certification in OR Technology, required.
- BLS required.
Nice To Haves
- Experience preferred (1 year), but not required.
Responsibilities
- Providing surgical scrub on all types of minor and major surgical procedures dependent on individual competence.
- Organize instruments, equipment, and supplies for easy access and maximum efficiency.
- Follow appropriate guidelines for setting up sterile field and instruments for designated procedures.
- Utilize Electronic Heath Care Record system.
