About The Position
This role requires expertise in sterile and aseptic techniques, a strong understanding of human anatomy and surgical procedures, and the ability to utilize tools and technology to assist physicians during invasive, therapeutic, and diagnostic procedures. The primary responsibility is to provide quality patient care.
Requirements
- Current Certified Surgical Technologist certification or completion of a surgical tech program with at least 5 years of OR experience.
- Current BLS certification.
Nice To Haves
- L&D experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Understanding and implementation of sterile and aseptic technique.
- Facilitating physicians during invasive, therapeutic, and diagnostic procedures by applying knowledge of human anatomy, surgical procedures, and tools/technology.
