Certified Surgical Tech (Full-time)
About The Position
Emplify Health is seeking a skilled and dedicated Certified Surgical Tech to join their Main OR team in La Crosse, WI. This role involves working 36 hours per week, with primarily day shifts on Monday-Friday, and includes a night and weekend call rotation with a response time of 60 minutes or less. The position also involves holiday rotation, typically 1-2 holidays per year. The Certified Surgical Tech will assist the physician as a scrub person according to prescribed standards and assist the RN in performing circulating duties as directed. The primary focus will be on the scrub role, including preparing, selecting, and maintaining equipment, instruments, and supplies.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited surgical tech program
- Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (with hands on learning) from one of the following programs; American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Nice To Haves
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification within 2 years of hire date.
Responsibilities
