About The Position
The work is varied in nature and requires close attention to details, accuracy and organization skills. Must be able to adjust to stressful situations. Work is normally performed in a standing or sitting position with periods of physical exertion, bending, kneeling and lifting. Use of good body mechanics is used when lifting and transferring patients.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of surgical technology.
- Must be licensed to practice as a Certified Surgical Technologist in the state of Indiana.
- Must be current in BLS.
Nice To Haves
- Previous surgical tech experience is preferred.
