About The Position
Emplify Health is seeking a skilled and dedicated full-time Certified Surgical Tech to join their Main OR team in La Crosse, WI. This role involves working 36 hours per week with specific shift schedules for Week 1 and Week 2. The position does not require night or weekend call, but does include a holiday rotation of 1-2 holidays per year. The Certified Surgical Tech will primarily assist the physician as a scrub person and assist the RN with circulating duties as directed, focusing on preparing, selecting, and maintaining equipment, instruments, and supplies.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited surgical tech program
- Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (with hands on learning) from one of the following programs; American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Nice To Haves
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification within 2 years of hire date.
Responsibilities
- Assists physician as scrub person according to prescribed standards.
- Assist RN in performing circulating duties as directed.
- Performs primarily in the scrub role preparing, selecting maintaining equipment, instruments, and supplies.
