About The Position
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated full-time Certified Surgical Tech to join our Main OR team in La Crosse, WI! This role involves assisting physicians as a scrub person and assisting the RN in performing circulating duties. The primary focus is on the scrub role, including preparing, selecting, and maintaining equipment, instruments, and supplies.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited surgical tech program
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification within 2 years of hire date.
- Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (with hands on learning) from one of the following programs; American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Responsibilities
- Assists physician as scrub person according to prescribed standards.
- Assist RN in performing circulating duties as directed.
- Performs primarily in the scrub role preparing, selecting maintaining equipment, instruments, and supplies.
