About The Position
InterHealth Staffing, a staffing division of TGH, is offering 13-week seasonal assignments for Certified Surgical Technologists in the Operating Room. Requirements
- Graduate of a Surgical Technologist training program.
- Current certification as a Surgical Technologist.
- 2+ years of experience in the Operating Room.
- Experience in varied surgical settings and services such as general/GU, robotics, orthopedics, GYN, eye/ENT, neuro/neurospine.
- Must have Orthopedic and Neurosurgery experience.
Responsibilities
- Assists with surgical and endoscopy procedures under general supervision.
- Provides, assembles, and cares for surgical supplies, instruments, and equipment before, during, and after procedures.
- Assists with cleaning, restocking, and processing of the surgical suite, instruments, and equipment.
- Identifies and reports situations requiring intervention to the RN or Clinician.
- Performs job duties in accordance with the mission, vision, and values of Tampa General Hospital.
