Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Certified Surgical Tech (CST) program.
• Current Certified Surgical Tech (CST) certification upon hire and maintained during employment; non-certified employees hired before December 2014 are exempt.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire and maintained.
• Experience and mastery scrubbing minor and major procedures in General Surgery, Urology, Eye (cataracts), Gynecology, and Hand specialties.
• Demonstrated proficiency and skill in basic spine procedures such as laminectomies, Sports Medicine, Orthopedic Total Joints, complicated spinal fusion surgery including 360 fusions, and complicated orthopedic procedures including joint revisions.
• Independent practice as a primary scrub technician.
