The best career is right here. St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Certified Surgical Tech (CST) for the Surgery unit located within the Dearborn, Indiana hospital. Shift & Hours: 1st shift; Full-time, 40 hours weekly. The best career is right here. Under the direction of the Registered Nurse, performs the duties of the scrub person to meet the surgical needs of the patient in the perioperative setting. Demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness and empathy in each encounter with all patients, families, visitors and other employees regardless of cultural background.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited surgical technician program.
- Proof of certification within one year of hire date.
- In-depth knowledge of anatomy and physiology, surgical procedures, instruments, sutures, and equipment for surgical procedures.
- Graduate of accredited surgical technician program.
