About The Position

Functions in the first assistant and second assistant role, under the direction of the surgeon. Sustains a high level of patient care by addressing the physical, social and educational needs of the patient. Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Performs all duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Previous OR Experience
• Current certification as a certified surgical first assistant or 3 years in a surgical assistant role
