About The Position

Under department leadership, the Instrument Technician provides support services in the perioperative setting, including the main OR, Short Stay Unit, PACU, and other hospital departments. The role cleans and assembles equipment; sterilizes and disinfects supplies, instruments, and equipment according to established policies and procedures; performs material management functions related to par levels; and accurately documents the sterilization process.

Requirements

• Previous experience in sterile processing or current certification in sterile processing.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Completion of a sterile processing course or equivalent work experience in instrument processing.
• Certification from HSPA – CRCST or CBSPD – CSPDT.

Responsibilities
