This role operates on a Mon-Fri schedule from 3pm to 11:30pm. Requirements

• Central Service Tech specializing in Sterile Processing credentialed from the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Central Service Tech specializing in Sterile Processing credentialed from the Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate and sanitize surgical instruments and high-tech equipment.
• Inspect, test, and assemble surgical instruments to ensure completeness of surgical trays.
• Master and monitor advanced sterilization systems and equipment, validating that every cycle meets safety standards.
• Manage instrument inventory and coordinate case-cart preparation.
• Participate in collaborative peer quality audits to foster continuous learning and safety.
