Certified School Nurse
About The Position
The Certified School Nurse promotes health and safety in the school environment and provides health services to students, faculty and staff. Assists with the teaching of sound health practices. Must have demonstrated experience in school health nursing practice and emergency procedures and knowledge of child growth and development, community and family dynamics, current health issues and wellness education. Knowledge of community health and social services resources and ability to communicate effectively with non-school health professionals and social service agencies. Hours: Full Time; follows the School Calendar.

- Demonstrated experience in school health nursing practice and emergency procedures
- Knowledge of child growth and development, community and family dynamics, current health issues and wellness education
- Knowledge of community health and social services resources
- Ability to communicate effectively with non-school health professionals and social service agencies
- Valid New Jersey Department of Education School Nurse certification required
