About The Position

HealthPRO Pediatrics is hiring a Certified School Registered Nurse (RN) for a school-based position in Highland Park, IL! Join our supportive, multidisciplinary team focused on helping students succeed academically and functionally. This is a full-time position for the 2026-2027 school year. The role involves consulting and collaborating with school staff and families regarding students' health and wellness, participating in the IEP process, providing nursing services based on IEPs, and maintaining required documentation.

Requirements

Nursing license in the state of residence/state of placement.
Must hold a current license to practice in the state of IL
PEL with a School Nurse Endorsement issued by the ISBE
Assumes responsibility for ongoing continuing education and professional development

Responsibilities

Consult and collaborate with School staff and families in regards to students’ health and wellness.
Participate in the IEP process in developing present levels of performance, goals and objectives, and treatment recommendations for students qualifying for nursing services
Provide nursing services through the use of current best practices based on prescribed services in the IEP
Maintain all documentation required by the district and ASHA’s code of ethics including, but not limited to, daily notes, monthly summaries, and annual IEP’s
