LOA Position: Certified School Counselor (Bilingual)
About The Position
Clarifi Staffing Solutions is partnering with an Illinois school district to hire a Bilingual (Spanish/English) School Counselor for a full-time temporary assignment. This rewarding opportunity runs August 11 through November 16 and serves a vibrant middle school community. As a trusted advocate for students, you'll provide individual and group counseling, collaborate with educators and families, and help create a positive, inclusive school culture where every student feels supported. This full-time position offers 37.5 hours per week with a paid lunch. You'll work closely with administrators, teachers, and student support staff to address students' academic, behavioral, social, and emotional needs while promoting overall student well-being and success.
Requirements
- Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
- Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, and school personnel.
- Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Counselor endorsement.
- Commitment to supporting the academic achievement and emotional well-being of middle school students.
Nice To Haves
- Previous school counseling experience is preferred but not required.
