About The Position
This is a Locum Tenens position for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) specializing in General Anesthesia. The role is located in Potsdam, NY, within an inpatient setting. The coverage is clinical with call responsibilities and is ongoing starting October 26, 2026. The CRNA will provide general anesthesia for inpatient and OB procedures, perform epidurals and other regional anesthesia, schedule surgeries, manage anesthesia care plans, and supervise CRNAs as needed. The position requires taking weekday and weekend call shifts. Patient demographics include adults and obstetrics, with a patient volume of 10-15. The case mix includes OB and General Anesthesia. The facility uses the Epic EMR system.
Requirements
- Active NY license
- Board Certified (or Board Eligible)
- BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA or RQI)
Responsibilities
- Provide general anesthesia for inpatient and OB procedures.
- Perform epidurals and other regional anesthesia.
- Schedule surgeries and manage anesthesia care plans.
- Supervise CRNAs as needed.
- Take weekday and weekend call shifts.
