About The Position

Person Memorial Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) for a PRN, non-exempt position. The therapist provides comprehensive respiratory care to patients of all age groups with acute and chronic cardiopulmonary conditions. The role includes performing diagnostic testing, administering and evaluating ordered therapies, and collaborating with physicians to develop and implement individualized plans of care. The therapist also responds to emergencies, including codes; educates patients and families; maintains respiratory equipment and supplies; and accurately documents care in the electronic medical record while following evidence-based practices and regulatory standards.

Person Memorial Hospital is a full-service, Joint Commission-accredited hospital in Roxboro, North Carolina, serving Person County and surrounding areas. The hospital has 98 licensed beds and modern facilities and equipment.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy.
• Current Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) certification.

Responsibilities
