About The Position
Interim HealthCare Staffing is hiring a Certified Resident Assistant for flexible assignments at local care facilities in Madison, Wisconsin. Assignments may be in assisted living facilities, memory care units, skilled nursing facilities, hospitals, or rehabilitation centers. The role offers flexible scheduling, with opportunities described as per diem, contract, temporary-to-hire, and direct hire, including block scheduling. Pay is listed as $19.00–$21.00 per hour, depending on the facility, shift, and assignment. The position supports residents and patients with personal care and daily needs as part of a care team. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Required compliance training for work in long-term care and assisted living; training can be provided by Interim HealthCare.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and support patients safely.
- Good communication skills.
- Dependable and compassionate nature.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents and patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
- Support patients with feeding and nutritional intake.
- Perform light tasks related to ambulation, repositioning, and safety.
- Take vital signs, monitor basic health indicators, and report changes in condition.
- Work as part of a care team that may include registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, physicians, and other aides.
- Observe patients and notify appropriate staff of care or behavioral concerns.
