About The Position

We are seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a Locum Tenens position in Portsmouth, OH. This role involves providing general anesthesia services in an inpatient setting. The coverage period is from June 15, 2026, ongoing, with a shift schedule of Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM. This is a supplemental coverage need. The CRNA will be responsible for administering anesthesia to adult and pediatric patients, performing pre-anesthetic assessments, managing patient airways and ventilation, inserting and managing invasive lines, and providing post-operative pain management. The facility utilizes the MediTech EMR system. Hospital privileges are not required, and temporary privileges are not available.

Requirements

• Certified (BC required)
• Licensed in OH or Universal License (IMLC)
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification

• Experience with Complex vascular cases (except open heart)

Responsibilities

• Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care
• Perform pre-anesthetic assessment and evaluation
• Manage patient airway and ventilation
• Insert and manage invasive lines (arterial, central, PA catheters)
• Provide post-operative pain management including epidural and extremity blocks
