About The Position
Henry Ford Health is seeking a Full-Time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join the Ambulatory Division at Henry Ford Cottage Surgery Center in Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan. This role offers a collaborative anesthesia care model with no call and no weekends, and includes a $40,000 sign-on bonus in a high-quality outpatient surgical environment. The position involves administering anesthesia to patients of all ages and ASA classes, providing airway management, monitoring patients intraoperatively, managing complications, and delivering post-anesthesia care and pain management. Accurate documentation within EPIC EMR is required. Travel to other ambulatory sites may be necessary. The CRNA will collaborate closely with anesthesiologists and multidisciplinary surgical teams within a fast-paced ambulatory division alongside over 40 CRNAs and 10 senior staff physicians.
Requirements
- Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited nurse anesthesia program
- Graduation from an accredited school of anesthesia
- Minimum 1 year of CRNA experience
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification
- NBCRNA certification
- Michigan State License
- No lapsed or new graduate candidates
- Not open to Locum and/or Locum to Perm candidates
- Not open to candidates who have lapsed Board Certification(s) and need to obtain them again
- Not open to providers who want to commute long distances (more than 1 hour) and/or in conjunction with another job(s)
- Not open to candidates seeking alternate shift schedules to what is described above
Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia to patients of all ages and ASA classes (including pediatrics and geriatrics)
- Provide airway management services as needed
- Monitor patients intraoperatively and manage anesthesia-related complications
- Deliver post-anesthesia care and pain management
- Maintain accurate and compliant documentation within EPIC EMR
- Travel to other ambulatory sites as operational needs arise
- Collaborate closely with anesthesiologists and multidisciplinary surgical teams
