About The Position
Pinnacle GI Partners is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide anesthesia services in an independent setting at their outpatient centers in Lansing, MI. This is a 10-99 opportunity with 8 and 10-hour shift availability. The role involves managing anesthesia for endoscopy procedures and minor outpatient surgeries, offering a blend of independent practice and collaboration with GI physicians.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program
- Certification in Registered Nurse Anesthesia
- Current license to practice professional nursing in the State of Michigan
- Current unencumbered CRNA license in the State of Michigan
- Active BLS and ACLS
- Must successfully pass a background check and a drug screening
Nice To Haves
- 2-3 years CRNA experience
- GI/endoscopy experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Performs and documents a pre-anesthetic assessment and evaluation of the patient
- Develops and implements anesthetic plan of care, including monitoring modalities and post anesthesia follow up evaluation and care
- Selects, obtains and administers the anesthetic plan of care, including induction, maintenance, and emergence phase of anesthesia
- Recognizes alteration in the physiologic responses to the procedures and/or the anesthetic, takes appropriate action
