About The Position
Jefferson Health is seeking a full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join the Center for Cardiac Anesthesia at Jefferson Health Montgomery in the Philadelphia suburbs. The role provides anesthesia care for patients undergoing cardiac, thoracic, and other complex surgical procedures in a collaborative, academic anesthesia care-team model. The service supports advanced cardiac and thoracic procedures in a high-acuity tertiary/quaternary care setting. The department is exploring a Monday–Friday schedule starting with 3/13s while remaining open to other scheduling options. Cardiac anesthesia experience is preferred; motivated new graduates with a strong interest in cardiac anesthesia will be considered. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program.
- Current CRNA certification through NBCRNA.
- Eligible for or currently licensed as a CRNA in Pennsylvania.
- Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills.
- Commitment to teamwork and patient safety.

- Cardiac anesthesia experience is preferred.

Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care for cardiac and thoracic surgical procedures, including CABG, valve repair or replacement, aortic surgery, structural heart cases, and advanced heart failure therapies.
- Collaborate with cardiac anesthesiologists in an academic, team-based environment.
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered anesthesia care in a fast-paced tertiary/quaternary care setting.
