In accordance with delineated clinical privileges, the CRNA is responsible for providing safe, high-quality anesthesia care, including but not limited to performing comprehensive pre-anesthesia patient assessments and evaluations, developing and implementing individualized anesthesia care plans in collaboration with the anesthesia team, delivering anesthesia care across a variety of procedural and surgical settings, monitoring patients throughout the perioperative period and responding to changing clinical conditions, and providing post-anesthesia evaluation, follow-up, and patient care. Responsibilities
- Performing comprehensive pre-anesthesia patient assessments and evaluations
- Developing and implementing individualized anesthesia care plans in collaboration with the anesthesia team
- Delivering anesthesia care across a variety of procedural and surgical settings
- Monitoring patients throughout the perioperative period and responding to changing clinical conditions
- Providing post-anesthesia evaluation, follow-up, and patient care
- Precept SRNAs and support the development of future anesthesia providers
- Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
- Engage in peer review and professional practice activities
