About The Position
M Health Fairview Southdale Hospital seeks a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to work as part of the team to oversee line operations of the Anesthesia department. This is a flexible FTE position, ranging from 0.6 up to 1.0 FTE. A signing bonus and relocation assistance are available. The department has over 30 Operating rooms and performs over 23,000 cases annually, providing all surgical services except for transplants and surgical pediatrics. CRNAs work independently while collaborating with Anesthesiologists and have the opportunity to work with student nurse anesthetists (SRNAs). The hospital utilizes a fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC) and operates as a Pioneer Accountable Care Organization (ACO), employing a multidisciplinary team approach to patient care management. As a non-profit organization, Fairview qualifies for Public Service Loan Forgiveness.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Graduate of a formal Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist training program.
- Current Minnesota RN license.
- Board certified or eligible from the National Board on Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
Responsibilities
