About The Position

Henry Ford Health is seeking a full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join the Anesthesiology team at Henry Ford St. John Hospital, a Level I Trauma Center in Detroit, Michigan. This role offers a dynamic inpatient practice environment with strong compensation, call incentives, and a $40,000 sign-on bonus. The CRNA will provide anesthesia services in an inpatient hospital setting, delivering care across a wide range of surgical and procedural cases. Collaboration with anesthesiologists, surgeons, nursing staff, and perioperative teams is essential. The position requires participation in scheduled night and weekend call coverage, responding within 1 hour when on-call and providing services as needed (2-hour minimum callback). Responsibilities include managing pre-anesthesia assessments and evaluations, administering anesthesia and monitoring patients intraoperatively, and providing post-anesthesia care and pain management. All patient encounters must be documented in EPIC EMR, and compliance with hospital credentialing and clinical standards must be maintained. This role supports staffing needs due to ongoing staffing shortages.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of CRNA experience
  • Must meet credentialing requirements (90–120 days)
  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • NBCRNA
  • Michigan State License

Nice To Haves

  • Trauma Level I experience preferred due to facility designation
